About the Photographer
As you probably know, my name is Jill, I'm fifteen years old, and my life revolves around my horse, and photography.  I own a horse named Gus, andPhoto © Reflections Photography he is my one true love.  Photography came into my life a few years ago, but it really blossomed into my passion when I received Canon's first Digital Rebel for my birthday in 2004.  For the years to follow, I actively took pictures of horses, nature, and other animals.  However, in January 2007, my camera, along with all my lenses and memory cards, was stolen from my checked bag in an airport.  I was absolutely crushed, but I collected myself enough to purchase the Canon EOS 30D the next day, and another lens.  I also recently bought myself the Canon EOS Rebel XT to use more often, since it is smaller and cheaper than the 30D.  My photos are most popular with the owners/riders at my barn.  At the last barn I boarded at, I was the official barn photographer, and I have just started to establish myself at my current stable.  By selling prints, doing photo shoots, and making photo disks, I earn enough money to keep up my collection of cameras and lenses and memory cards.  Yes, I do want to be a photographer when I grow up.  And I figure, if I start young, how could I fail?
